This youthful ensemble from Sonoma County, California, performs an all-acoustic, folk-rock blend of American roots music and Celtic trad.-- plus original songs. The group approaches music from Ireland and the British Isles with both reverence and a sense of adventure. They revisit traditional dance music and ballads, write new material in the idiom, and infuse American folk and blues with the resulting sensibility.
Voted Best Acoustic Band by the Sonoma County Independent, Spiral Bound has honed its chops over a wide spectrum of musical venues, from Festivals to road houses. Using mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, harmonica, bass and guitar, they bring high energy and spirits to create a memorable musical event.
