Sound Design
Mitch Greenhill Sound Design, a division of Folklore Productions, was established in 1983, when Mitch was asked to compose and perform music for the Hollywood production of Sam Shepard's THE MAD DOG BLUES. On Broadway, he composed original music for AN ALMOST HOLY PICTURE, a dramatic play starring Kevin Bacon and directed by Michael Mayer. At the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, THE WAITING ROOM (mainstage, 1994) and GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER (cabaret, 1992) were recognized by Drama-Logue Awards for Sound Design and Original Music, respectively. MULES followed in 1997.

Current Projects:
- BENEDICTUS, by Motti Lerner, directed by Mahmood Karimi-Hakak, a Golden Thread production, opened at The Thick House, San Francisco, California, on October 1, 2007. The production moves to Los Angeles, November 29 through December 9, as part of LATC's opening festival of international theatre.
- THE WIZARDS OF IZ, a collaboration with dancer-videographer Charles Dennis, continues its development with performances at Charles' studio in Brooklyn, November 16 through 18, 2007. For information, please contact (718) 437-7972.
